Hatching Eggs in Schools

dscf4363-croppedAs always this year has been a wonderful experience with the hatching eggs in schools project.

We always state that we are the most welcomed visitors when delivering the hatching eggs to schools and other organisations, but most unwanted when collecting the chicks as the students, parents and teachers just don’t want the chicks to go, but sadly they are getting bigger and need to be returned to the farm to further their growth.

Chicken School receives such positive feedback from all concerned who value the very visible equipment we use; there is no point in having eggs and chicks if you can’t witness the education and wonder it provides. Child safety and animal welfare is also paramount to our business which we pride ourselves on.

For more information regarding hatching eggs at schools and other organisations please see out Hatching Chicks in Schools page on the right of this page or from the home page.

Thank you all for allowing Chicken Schools Hatching project come to your organisation, we look forward to seeing you all again next year

About Val

Val always wanted to keep hens. Her first experience of hen keeping was moving to a house with a garden many years ago. She tried hard to gain experience by reading as many books as possible, but found that nothing beats hands on experience... which you cannot get until you attend a course or have your chickens.
