What Happens to The Chicks

We Are Passionate About Our Feathered Friends

Animal Welfare is Paramount of Our Business. We do Not Hatch for Hatching Sake!

All Eggs would have hatched on the farm so no unnecessary hatching is carried out.

Our Hatching Eggs Project is Very Ethical

All Chicks are returned to the farm to continue their growth (the owner is the Honorary Secretary of a Poultry Club which is afflicted to the Poultry Club of GB).

They are required for laying (the free-range Eggs are used for on a local weekly Egg Round and Farmers Markets), some are kept for breeding or showing (some have won prizes) some are sold, the farmer always tried to sell Trios (one cockerel with 2 hens) where possible.

You can rest assured Your Chicks will be cared for, they have the freedom to roam.
